the difficult way

"You know. You could've come to Me first. Why didn't you? I'm always there, I was watching everything as it unfolded."

"You're right. As usual, You always are. And that's why You're awesome :D" 

And I started to pray. 

All I needed was a simple reminder from Him. 

I think many times, I live my life forgetting that God is watching my every move, and every situation that happens. And I forget that He's bigger and mightier than anything that my human mind can comprehend. That He's above every problem. 

And that's when I forget to pray about an issue. And then I end up doing things the difficult and unproductive way. But He's gracious, and He reminds me. 

"He never grows weak or weary,
     No one can measure the depths of his understanding" - Isaiah 40: 28  

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take" - Proverbs 3: 5-6

Indeed, our God is greater, stronger, and higher than any other, and any thing on this Earth. His wisdom, strength, and understanding surpasses anything that can be found here on Earth, because He is God. And because He never grows weak or weary, He is our; and should be our; infinite source of strength and wisdom. We need to always draw our 'nourishment' from His well. 

Above all, I thank You that You're faithful, and full of mercy and grace. 

I thank You that You're a God who fulfils promises. Your promises are the things that I want to hold on to. 

Keep teaching me. Break my heart for what breaks Yours. Help me live according to Your will, even in difficult situations.
