"LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws;
our heart's desire is to glorify your name" - Isaiah 26:8

"...let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith." - Hebrews 12:1-2

"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
- 1 Corinthians 10:31

"Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace." - Romans 6:12-14

"...Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit." - Romans 7:6

"So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us..."
- 2 Corinthians:20

"Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts." - Ephesians 5:17-19

"Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom that he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father."
- Colossians 3: 16-17

"For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts." - 1 Thessalonians 2:4

Who am I living for? Is my mind focused on God?

Thank you Jesus, for this reminder. Need to 'up my game' for God!

So many verses, passages, letters. Jesus, I pray for wisdom and an obedient heart.

Honesty, acknowledgement,
walk away from pride and self
Face forward, eyes on Jesus
purpose; His glory
Solution: Word, prayer, church, accountability
thoughts, everyday - life, thankful, thanksgiving
Worship. Guard my heart tight.
Trust. Go on, I'm walking with you.
I can't; faithless. Picked up, every time.

        Excitement. Love. Hope.

:')
